Lyman was a minor character in The Garfield comics and Odie's owner. I've always been interested in him. I mean 1978 he shows up and lives with Jon, but by 1983 he's gone. Now it's commonly accepted that Odie is Jon's dog (In the 2004 Garfield film, Jon inadvertently adopted Odie when he misunderstood what Liz meant. In the animated adaptation of Garfield: His Nine Lives, Jon comes back from the pet store with Odie, saying he adopted him to be Garfield's playmate.)
So I made this site in dedication of Lyman. He's not my main favorite Garfield character (That would be Arlene.), but I think he's a great character.
